You can do it!
Homeschooling through high school may seem daunting at first. What about subjects I can’t teach? How will I provide a transcript? Will my child be accepted into college? The questions go on and on, not only in your own mind, but from from well-meaning friends and family too. People have been homeschooling through high school for many years, but today there are more resources, options, and support available to homeschoolers than ever before. While we cannot provide a complete list of everything available to help you homeschool through high school, we’ve put together a few links to help you get started.
For Our Veritas Members
We have a separate members only High School Page with sample transcripts, examples of science labs, as well as advice from members who successfully homeschooled through high school.
HSLDA Homeschool Legal Defense Organization
HSLDA has quite a bit of helpful information on homeschooling through high school. Here are just a couple of their pages:

Get Connected
Arizona has a thriving homeschool community. Get plugged into a homeschool group so that you can be supported as you navigate the high school years. Staying connected with other homeschoolers will help you learn about additional learning opportunities, co-ops, enrichment classes, teen social events, and other resources to help you and your high school student not just complete high school, but to have fun too!. Veritas Homeschoolers offers a number of activities for teens including field trips, social activities, service projects and a youth group Bible study. If you are interested in joining Veritas, check out our Application page.
Graduation
Homeschoolers in Arizona are not subject to the high school graduation requirements that public school students must meet. Homeschool parents have complete freedom to decide the requirements for their own children but should consider their children’s plans for after high school. If your child plans on attending college, you should check out the admission requirements for the college(s) he/she is interested in. We’ve listed a few links below to admission requirement pages for some of our local Arizona universities. Also, don’t forget about AFHE’s annual Senior High Graduate Recognition Ceremony every year in May.
